Yasmin Sharabi is an artist, curator and was previously Manager of The Waterline, an art space within the Bahrain Financial Harbour dedicated to supporting the art scene and nurturing artists in Bahrain. She holds an MA in Art Business from Sotheby’s Institute, London (2006) and a BA in Studio Art/ Art History, Concordia University, Montreal (2004). She was previously Assistant Manager of Cuadro Fine Art Gallery, DIFC, Dubai, UAE.
A combination of Yasmin’s extensive exhibition experience, awareness of current market trends and a keen eye for detail have enabled her to surpass expectations in terms of ensuring quality and standard, thereby building an important network of contacts and clients- artists, collectors and major institutions- in the region and abroad. Recent projects included curating an exhibition with 40 artists from the Gaza Strip, Palestine- a collaborative venture with PADICO (Palestine), the APT (Artist Pension Trust), the UNDP and the Institute Francais (Jerusalem).
