Bumblefoot’s Living Room

On Saturday, November 12, 2016, the first major international guitar clinic with rock guitar icon Bumblefoot was held at Malja. The clinic also featured one of Bahrain’s best guitarists, Mohammed Rashid. The idea here is to engage the larger guitar community in value based clinics where they are exposed to different styles of guitar techniques, yet engage in an open forum with the artists to allow for a relaxed approach which includes meet and greets, photo opps etc.

This was the first major international guitar clinic with rock guitar icon, Bumblefoot, organized by Clockwork.

Bumblefoot
Ron ‘Bumblefoot’ Thal is an award-winning Multi-instrumentalist, Vocalist, Songwriter, Producer and World-renowned Guitar virtuoso, with over 20 years of releasing music, playing international festivals and headlining tours, and gracing magazine covers as a solo artist. As lead guitarist of Guns N’ Roses (2006 – 2014) Bumblefoot toured sold-out shows all over the world, headlining festivals with crowds up to 150,000. Bumblefoot’s unique ‘fretless guitar’ can be heard throughout GNR’s 2008 Chinese Democracy album.

Bumblefoot’s recent Little Brother Is Watching album is an eccentric, upbeat collection of epic, modern rock with haunting melodies, huge choruses and witty lyrics about life in the digital age and beyond. The album was composed, produced, recorded, mixed and mastered by Bumblefoot at his own studio, and includes a crowd of 100 fans stomping, chanting and singing backing vocals recorded at a listening party in New York. The day after its release, the album went as high as #4 on theAmazon.com Rock charts in Europe.

Bumblefoot’s recent collaborations include rock group Art Of Anarchy (featuring ex-Creed vocalist Scott Stapp replacing former vocalist Scott Weiland, and Disturbed bassist John Moyer) and Fragile Mortals (featuring DMC from the iconic rap group Run DMC and ex-Exodus vocalist Rob Dukes). Bumblefoot is also an accomplished composer whose music is often heard in TV, film and video games including the theme song to VH1’s “That Metal Show”. Bumblefoot has worked as an adjunct Professor at SUNY Purchase College teaching music production, works with U.S. Embassies around the world on cross-cultural music programs, has his own line of award-winning hot sauces, and works with dozens of international charities visiting orphanages and children’s hospitals around the World with guitar in hand.
